A great variety of fish products are elaborated in the modern processing plants of Uruguay, which operate with highly capacitated personnel and under strict quality controls. Exellent highest purity water supply and sophisticated sewage treatment systems are quality guarantors meeting the requirements of customers from more than 30 countries.

Foreing markets where our fish export products are successful, like the U.S.A., the E.U. and Israel, among others, prove their high quality.
The greatest volume of exported fish products is taken by frozen fish and its large variety of preparations, particularly fillets, either skinless or skin-on, bonless, defatted, breaded, with crumb breading and stuffed, as well as "cuore" fillets, in blocks, I.Q.F.
Exports of H.G. cuts are second in volume. This product is presented skin-on or skinless, pan ready, etc.

There is a market as well for frozen whole fish, squid (whole or in pieces), tunny fishes and fish meal and oil.





Outstanding packing indicates quality exellency of the product to be exported. Latest packing technologies and constant quality tests are two factors permanently present in all export shipments from Uruguay.

Export products´ packing varies according to their destination. It ranges from 30 kilogram corrugated cardboard boxes down to individual small 450 grm boxes, beautifully lithographed.

Packing may also be prepared to order, following customers´ specifications complying with highest package design, quality and presentation.
