Andrew Tysoe ADARM BAppSc is an Australian redclaw biologist (astacologist), aquaculture consultant and project manager who has over 10 years experience in the commercial redclaw aquaculture industry, both in Australia and overseas. He is based in Ecuador, South America, which is the world's largest producer of redclaw. Ecuador possesses several areas providing good conditions for redclaw culture. This combined with a new system of culture techniques, provides possibly the best conditions for redclaw aquaculture anywhere in the world. While most existing redclaw farms are producing average yields around 1,000 kilograms per hectare per year (2,200 lb/ha/yr), Andrew Tysoe is now producing consistent yields of redclaw over 4,000 kg/ha/year (8,800 lb/ha/yr). This commercial system includes full-time consulting to ensure success. All aspects from site selection to product marketing are included in the consulting package. Complete project management is available for turn-key operations, at a fixed contract price and set date for completion. Private consulting for existing projects or projects outside of Ecuador is also available.
