Redclaw Projects

Redclaw farming can be an excellent investment for individuals or groups with the initial capital. Return on investment is 40 to 50% per year on a well managed farm. Commercial redclaw projects usually contain 20 hectares of ponds or more, providing constant production of product and hence a steady cash flow. Redclaw farming is most profitable in larger farms, with 25 hectares of ponds or more. The reason for this is that the cost of construction and operation per hectare of ponds is substantially less in larger farms. Return on the initial investment is also more rapid in larger projects.

Due to the substantial investment, commercial redclaw projects easily justify the services of an experienced project manager. Redclaw farming is not as easy as it sounds (like everything else), hence the slow growth of the industry to date. The small expense of consulting or project management can be the difference between success and failure. For less than 5% of the initial investment on a new farm, Andrew Tysoe can make your redclaw project a success.
