A

Unrestricted finfish
Licence authorises the catching or taking of any finfish, that is to say vertebrate fish having a dorsal fin, a ventral or pectoral fin and not in any case include Toothfish (Dissistichus eleginoides),  Skate (Rajidae) or Squid of any kind.

B

Illex squid
Licence authorises the catching or taking within the northern area and the FOCZ of Illex squid Illex  argentinus and Martialia squid Martialia  hyadesi.

C

Loligo squid
Licence authorises the catching or taking  within the southern area of Patagonian squid Loligo gahi

F

Skate and Rays
Licence authorises the catching or taking of all species of the family Skate (Rajidae) and shall not permit the taking of  other species of finfish or squid of any  kind

W

Restricted finfish
Licence authorises the catching or taking  of any finfish except Hake (Merluccius spp.), Toothfish  (Dissistichus eleginoides) or Skate (Rajidae)

G

Combined
Licence authorises the catching or taking of Illex squid Illex argentinus and Martialia squid Martialia hyadesi and any finfish  except Hake (Merluccius spp.), Toothfish (Dissistichus eleginoides) or Skate (Rajidae)

L

Toothfish
Licence authorises the catching of Toothfish (Dissostichius eleginoides) and shall  not permit the taking of other species of finfish or squid of any kind.

R

Skate and Rays
Licence authorises the catching or taking of all species of family Skate (Rajidae)  and shall not permit the taking of other species of finfish or squid of any kind.

S

Blue Whiting and Hoki
Licence authorises the catching or taking of Blue Whiting (Micromesistius australis) and Hoki (Macruronus magellanicus) by surimi factory vessels

X

Loligo squid
Licence authorises the catching or taking of Patagonian squid (Loligo gahi)

Y
