Tassal Group Ltd (Public, ASX:TGR) is a vertically integrated company from financial involvement in hatchery operations, through to farming, processing, value-adding, distribution, sales & marketing. The principal activities of the Company is hatching, farming, processing, sales and marketing of Atlantic Salmon. Tassal’s volume has steadily grown each year to over 12,000 tonnes per annum and employs over 450 people. It is the largest aquaculture company in Australia, marketing 70% of the Tasmanian salmon industries production.

Its wholly owned subsidiaries include Tassal Operations Pty Ltd and Aquatas Pty Ltd. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 (fiscal 2009), Tassal Group Limited owns 68.78% interest in Salmon Enterprises of Tasmania Pty Ltd.
