CAMANICA from January 01, 2007, has joined the Pescanova Group, which is a Spanish company leader in aquaculture, Fisherie and presence extends worldwide to countries such as France, Italy, Chile, USA, Australia, Argentina, Chile, Angola and recently in Nicaragua.

CAMANICA was incorporated in June 2000, the company was formed to purchase the assets of two companies in Nicaragua, (Productora el Semillal S.A. y Ecuanica S.A.) has CAMANICA many years in the Seafood market that have impacted not only domestically but also in industry internationally.

Camarones de Nicaragua, SA (Camanica) is a company that has been consolidating national and international level. This has been achieved through efforts to improve quality.

The General Manager Mr. Larry Drazba, is an active member of several national and international organizations devoted to aquaculture production. It has the support of commanders and staff from different departments of Camanica who show great interest in improving the quality of company products. All in Camanica recognize the importance of always satisfying the customer and therefore has established the HACCP system.
