Austevoll Seafood ASA’s income in Q4 2012 totalled NOK 2.9 billion (EUR 388 million), up from NOK 2.6 billion (EUR 347.9 million) in Q4 2011, due to the higher volume of sales and higher prices reached for fishmeal and fish oil, despite lower prices achieved for canned products.
EBITDA was NOK 244 million (EUR 32.7 million) compared with NOK 239 million (EUR 32 million) in Q4 2011.
For 2012, the Group reported operating income of NOK 11.8 billion (EUR 1.6 billion) compared to 2011’s NOK 12.2 billion (EUR 1.63 billion). EBITDA before value adjustment for biomass was NOK 1.3 billion (EUR 174 million) versus NOK 2 billion (EUR 267.6 million).
