We at Marine Farms Vietnam, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Norwegian, Marine Farms ASA,  are applying our experience and expertise to build a pioneering seafood and aquaculture facility to produce  the fast growing  seawater cobia in Vietnam.

Marine Farms Vietnam is the largest cobia aquaculture operation in the world. In 2010, its first full year of commercial production, live weight production will exceed 2,000 metric tons. All production for the United States and Canada are produced with a sashimi grade certificate under the akvacobia label.

Nordic Group is now marketing farm-raised cobia by Marine Farms under the akvacobia brand name in the U.S. and Canada.
