The ALBACORA Group is made up of commercial companies in the tuna industry that cover fishing, transportation, storage, distribution, selling and packaging.
The group was set up in 1974, when the parent company ALBACORA S.A. was also founded. The various companies that make up the group have different commercial experience and they work together to achieve their objectives.
The following group companies are involved in fishing activity: SALICA INDUSTRIA ALIMENTARIA, S.A., a canned goods manufacturer, founded in 1991, with a processing capacity of 45,000 tonnes a year; and SALICA ALIMENTOS.
