Pacific Andes Resources Development Limited (Public, SIN:P11), formerly Pacific Andes (Holdings) Limited, is a supply chain manager of seafood, through integrating its operations in fishing, sourcing, transportation and logistics.
The Company focuses on the development, marketing and distribution of marine resources. The Company is engaged in the supply chain management of frozen seafood products sourced from oceans all around the world. Besides providing a range of at-sea transportation and logistical services to fishing companies, it also operates fishing fleets and fishmeal processing facilities in the Pacific Ocean region.
The Company operates in two segments: frozen fish supply chain management (SCM) and fishing. Frozen fish SCM consists of sales of fish and other seafood products, charter hire services, sales of marine fuel oil and provision of packaging materials to fish suppliers. Fishing consists of income from fishing activities and the production and sale of fishmeal and fish oil.
The Company was listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd in 1996. The major shareholder of the Company, Pacific Andes International Holdings Limited (1174.HK), headquartered in Hong Kong, was listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in 1994.
