Baader-Canpolar Inc. has just introduced a ground-breaking concept to the fish processing industry. With the successful launch of the Baader BA820 Inspektor, one of the last remaining manual processes in fish processing has been automated.
The Inspektor automatically sorts defective fish fillets at high speeds using an intelligent camera system and advanced image processing software. The software communicates with mechanical sorting arms that remove defective fillets from the processing line.
