CEPESCA was born of the union of the three main employers' national fisheries: the Spanish Federation of Fishery Organizations (FEOPE), the Spanish Federation of Fishing Vessel Owners (FEABP) and the National Organization of Fisheries Associations (ONAPE). With the creation of the Confederation, was founded the most important fishing business organization in Europe and one of the most representative of the world.
