Sanford Limited (Public, NZE:SAN) is a New Zealand-based company engaged in harvesting, processing and selling seafood products. The Company’s subsidiaries in New Zealand include Sanford Investments Limited (wholly owned), an investment company; Auckland Fish Market Limited (wholly owned), an auction and seafood school company, and Auckland Fishing Port Limited (66.66% owned), a wharf company.
Its wholly owned subsidiaries in Australia include Sanford Australia Pty Limited and Ocean Fresh Fisheries Pty Limited, both of which are engaged in fish catching and processing.

In New Zealand Sanford operates a fleet of 11 vessels that freeze and pack the catch onboard the vessel immediately it is landed. Three of the vessels are 64 metre freezer trawlers all built in the same yard in Norway (all sister vessels) in the early 1990's and extensively upgraded to Sanford's requirements in 1997 and 1999. We operate a Norwegian built longline freezer vessel and six specialist scampi vessels.
