Catch volumes
Catch volumes of salmon recommended for Kamchatka, Russia, for 2013 report 150,996 tonnes, down 41% on those of 2012.

2. EUROPE
2.1 Norway
Prices
The future price for 3 to 6 kg is NOK 38.50 (EUR 5.10/kg) for June and they expect NOK 37.00 and 33.50 (EUR 4.89 and 4.43/kg) for July and August respectively.
During week 19, the average price for fresh salmon was NOK 42.31/kg (EUR 5.62/kg). This figure is similar to that of the previous week and up 46% on that of the same week in 2012. Compared with the same week in 2011 it is up 6%, according to Norwegian Statistics. The average FOB price at Norwegian Customs of fresh salmon exports (HS 03121201 and 03121202) so far in 2013 has been NOK 38.06/kg (EUR 5.05/kg), up 36% on that of 2012 and down 7% on that of 2011.

During the last week, the average price of frozen salmon exports was NOK 40.02/kg (EUR 5.31/kg), down 6% on that of the previous week. This figure is up 38% on that of the same week in 2012 and 1% on that of the same week in 2011. So far this year, the average price of frozen salmon exports has been NOK 35.32 (EUR 4.69/kg), up 22% on that of 2012 and 17% on that of 2011.

Markets
Exports of fresh salmon during the analysed week reported 14,217 tonnes. This figure is up 7% on that of the previous year, down 14% on that of the same week in 2012 and up 9% on that of 2011. In the year, exports of fresh salmon have reached 263,481 tonnes, down 4% on those of the same period in 2012 and up 23% on those of 2011.

Exports of frozen products during the week reported 275 tonnes. This figure is up 3% on that of the previous week and down 59% on that of the same week of 2012; it is also down 14% on that of the same week of 2011. During the year, exports of frozen salmon reached 8,182 tonnes, down 38% on those of the same period in the previous year and 35% on those of the same period in 2011.

3. NORTH AMERICA
3.1 United States
Salmon
Catch volumes
The Alaskan Department of Fishery and Game announced the first opening of Copper River on 16 May, from 7:00 to 12:00 h. In the Copper River they expect to catch 1.3 million sockeye and 240,000 coho during the season.
Forecasts on natural or wild volumes report 96.8 million pieces for this year: 7 million of sockeye, 9.9 of chum and 80 of pink salmon.
