The average CIF price of fillets –basa and panga- imported in March was USD 3,954/t, up 1% on that of February and up 32% on that of March 2017. In the first three months, the average was USD 3,879/t, up 26% on that of the same period last year

In March, incoming volumes of frozen fillets of basa and panga reported 6,097 tonnes, worth USD 24,106,000 CIF, up 10% in volume and value on those imported in the previous month and up 16% in volume and 53% in value to those imported in March 2017.

In the first three months of the year, they totalled 18,649 tonnes, worth USD 72,338,000, down 33% in volume and 3% in value on those of the same three months in 2017.
