The average price of frozen bluefin (HS 030345000 y 030346000) at Japan Customs in January was JPY 2,255/kg, up 2% on that of December and 9% on that of January 2011.

Markets
During the analysed month, about 204 tonnes of frozen bluefin were imported, worth JPY 460 million at Japan Customs. These figure are down 46% in volume and 67% in value on those of the previous month and 35% in volume and 30% in value on those of January 2011.
