  (SPAIN, 5/17/2012)

Pescaviar is a leading Spanish company specialized in producing and marketing a wide selection of premium transformed products.

The company has developed from the best raw materials that the sea offers unique products with an exquisite flavour, an attractive texture and free of artificial colourings and preserving.

Arënkha Selection MSC is a delicious, versatile seafood delicacy and a 100% natural alternative to caviar

One of its products, Pescaviar’s Arënkha Pearls won the award for Most Innovative Product at the first edition of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) SeAwards, held during the 20th edition of the European Seafood Exposition in Brussels.

Arënkha Pearls is a caviar substitute made using wild herring from an MSC-certified sustainable Norwegian fishery.

After mild smoking, sophisticated technology is used to transform the fish into intensely-flavoured spheres, free of artificial preservatives or additives.

The Pescaviar product impressed the MSC jury due to its flavour, texture and innovative use of technology.

MSC-certified Arënkha is available in the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland, among others. In Spain it can be found in the refrigerated goods section of El Corte Inglés and Hipercor supermarkets.
