Salmon price status at week 38

The total salmon export volumes for week 37 are 880 tonnes up compared to week 36 and 2,741 tonnes up compare to week 37 last year. Fish Pool Index (FPI) estimates for week 37 is down to NOK 26.26, reports Fish Pool ASA.

The Fish Pool Index reports that in the last four weeks salmon prices -- Spot Market Prices (for fresh salmon between 3 kg and 6 kg, FCA Oslo) and export volumes were as follows:

The contracts for the fourth quarter 2012 were traded at NOK 28.25 and the seller price currently remains at this level.

The operations for the year 2013 were traded several times and the last time they were traded at NOK 31.00, which is the best seller price at NOK 31.00.
