Limited is owned entirely by R. and J. M.Sawle,
and, in turn has a subsidiary joint venture company under the name of Polar
Ltd. Polar Ltd. is the owner of two large stern trawlers called the "Sil" & the "New Polar". These
vessels are registered in the Falkland Islands. The details of both these
vessels can be viewed in the Fishing Vessels section.
Polar Limited manages both these vessels from its offices on Fipass (Falklands
Interim Port And Storage System) in Stanley.
Nova Seafish Limited
In partnership with Seafish (Falklands) Limited,
we have formed a company called "Nova Seafish
Limited" which has given over 300 Falkland Islanders the opportunity
to participate in the Loligo fishery. Nova Seafish Limited owns the stern freezer trawler
"Robin M. Lee". For more details, and a picture, please refer to
