The Peruvian Chamber of Tuna (CPA) is a non-profit civil association, established in June 2018 and domiciled in the city of Lima, Peru. The purposes of the CPA are:
The promotion, promotion and defense of the fishing activity of tuna, related species and other hydrobiological resources as well as the principles of free enterprise, emphasizing the dignity of the person, representative democracy, the right to property.
The promotion of scientific and technical knowledge related to the sustainable use of tuna, in the framework of environmental conservation and the development of the individual.
Promote the analysis of fair and equitable working conditions of people who work in the fishing activity of tuna.
Channel the claims and interests of its associates, representing them before the various governmental entities at all levels of the State.
