This report covers the activity of salmon in Norway, focusing on aspects such as harvests, prices, markets and exports and imports. EUROPE Norway Prices During the fifth week of 2019, the average price of fresh salmon was NOK 57.41 (EUR 5.93/kg). This price is down 6% on that of the previous week and up 1% on that of the same week in 2018. Compared with the same week in 2017, it was down 13% in value according to Norwegian Statistics. The weekly average FOB price of fresh salmon exports (HS 03121201 and 03121202) at Norwegian Customs in 2019 was NOK 62.34/kg (EUR 6.44/kg), up 9% on that of the same period in 2018 and down 13% on that of 2017.
