Sirena has close partnerships with ships, trawlers and producers all over the world which provides a unique access to considerable quantities of North Atlantic fishery products that guarantees ongoing stable supplies of shrimp, redfish, Greenland halibut, salmon and many other varieties.

Sirena’s products are sold through all major fish distribution centers worldwide. Around the clock, the company’s sales people and shipping agents have planned the distribution of the catches even before the ships return to port, making sure that their seafood is always available in the various markets.
The ships deliver daily quality reports from their ongoing production. Sirena’s own on-shore team makes the final product inspection right after landing, which guarantees that the quality of their products meet the agreed specifications.

The inspection reports by the Danish authorities are the assurance that Sirena is processing and producing at a high food safety level. Inspections are made three times a year. Sirena has been certified to the MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody Standard.

Today, a fleet of modern factory trawlers supplies of all sorts of frozen fish and seafood to customers all over the world.
In June 1998, Sirena was proud to receive the King Frederik IX Award for Excellence in Export. The award is presented once a year to a company in recognition of export efforts in difficult markets, as well as for a steady increase in exports over a three year period with the potential for continued prosperity and success.
In 2001, Sirena acquired facilities in Esbjerg harbour which were converted into a modern cold store as well as a state-of-the-art production facility for reprocessing and packing. The company has also opened sales offices in its various markets such as Russia, China and Vietnam.

In 2008, the newest company in the Group, Whitecap Seafood International, was founded as marketer of the famous and well known Luxury Brand. With many years of experience of leadership in the Canadian seafood industry, Whitecap is already a serious player in the North-American market.
