Likewise, 56 joint operations have been carried out with the support of the General Directorate of Captaincy and Coast Guard (DICAPI), the National Police of Peru (PNP), the Public Ministry, the Regional Directorates of Production and municipalities, in order to combat illegal activities in the captures, landing, transport, marketing and processing of hake.
The most frequently committed infractions are the presentation of incorrect documentation at the time of the audit or not having it, which makes it impossible to verify the legal origin of the resource; as well as transporting, marketing and / or storing resources of sizes or weights smaller than those established.

It should be noted that everything confiscated is donated to charities and shelters, thereby benefiting thousands of people with low economic resources, as indicated by current fisheries regulations.
